来週のムービーナイトは「日本でいちばん長い日」です。ノンフィクションの小説（しょうせつ）から作られた映画です。

Our next movie is ”Nihon no Ichiban Nagai Hi" (English title: The Emperor in August). The World War II ended on August 15th, 1945. This movie is about what took place in Japan on the previous night.

今週から第５課にはいりましたね。今学期（がっき）のさいごの課で、道の聞き方や住所、日本の鉄道（てつどう）システムについて勉強します。このブログの宿題は、11/21（月）までにして下さい。

1) 教科書（きょうかしょ） pp. 228-229の英語の読み物を読んで下さい。

2) 日本の道や住所、鉄道、交通（こうつう transportation)について、英語のウェブサイトをしらべて、読んで下さい。

3) 読んだ後で、かんがえたこと・かんじたこと(impression)を日本語で書いて下さい。

もう今学期ものこり少なくなってきましたね。来週火曜日と水曜日はユニットテストですね。ブログの宿題です。これは11月14日までにして下さい。

教科書p.211-212にホストファミリーについての読み物があります。これを書いた人は日本に留学中でホームステイをしていますが、少しこまっているようです。この人に、何かいいアドバイスをしてほしいんです。もし(if)同じ問題（もんだい）があったら、どうしたらいいと思いますか？

１１月になりましたが、今週は毎日あたたかいですね。
今週末のブログの宿題です。

１）教科書 pp. 184-185の「日本の文化」の英語の読み物を読んで下さい。

２）読んだ後で、かんがえたこと・かんじたこと (impression)を日本語で書いて下さい。書く時、だい４かの新しいことばや文法、漢字をつかって下さい。

・〜ていく／てくる
・〜てもらう／〜てほしい

As some of you gave me helpful advice on the day, time and place for Japanese Discussion Table, I rescheduled them.

When: Thursdays, November 3, 10, 17 and December 1 from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Where: the Dooley Room - Room 102 in LaFortune Student Center ( the 1st floor of the Main Lounge)
As you know, Japanese Discussion Table is a place to ask questions about and share your interests in Japan and Japanese culture such as anime, manga, food, places, games and so on in English.
Please come with your friend.

こんにちは。来週のムービーナイトは「図書館戦争（としょかんせんそう：Library War)」です。みなさんは本を読むのが好きですか？好きな本を読みたいですね。これは本のために戦う(たたかう：fight)する人たちの話です。見に来て下さい。

In a slightly different timeline than ours, the explosion of information and misinformation came to be considered a direct threat to society. In a daring decision, it was decided to create a new government agency dedicated solely to information management. Some thirty years later, in 2019, the government still monitors and controls information, suppressing anything they find undesirable, but standing against their abuses of power are the libraries, with their special agents called ‘the book soldiers.’
